If she gets released on bail or bond,goes home and shows up for her court date,regardless of what she does while home,she will go to jail for an amount of time,and her child will never be totally her%26#039;s again.That sounds about right to me.ON THE OTHER HAND...if she does what her lawyer will almost immediately advise her to do,and checks into rehab,and does the %26quot;right%26quot; things like take(medical-staff run)parenting classes,she%26#039;ll go from being a scuzzy excuse for a human being to being a %26#039;victim of her addiction%26#039;.The judge-taking his cues from the AMA reps who mostly run the American Justice system-might of might not give her a month in jail,will give her probation that will mostly consist of therapy and drug treatment(curtosy of those Medicaid-sponsored Professionals),and her team,as it were,will do everything in their%26#039; power to reunite %26quot;mother%26quot; and daughter.Most or all of her criminal record will get expunged after some time,and we%26#039;ll all live happily ever after.





Don%26#039;t get me wrong-addiction is a real disease,no different than diabetes.To say other wise would be moronic,and to say otherwise to you,Melissa,would be downright disrespectful,having read some of your%26#039; answers regarding the subject.Help should be there for anyone who wants to help themself,but when did callous disregard for your%26#039; offspring become a symptom of addiction? I%26#039;m not one myself,but I%26#039;ve known both former and practicing addicts,and a good parent who%26#039;s an addict REMAINS a good parent even when in the worst stages of their%26#039; problem.Sometimes,it%26#039;s the love of the child that encourages them to make a change.





Her actions were those of an unfeeling THING that dosent care or feel enough to be a mother.And,just to cash in,the AMA will give her another chance that she dosen%26#039;t deserve.I think it%26#039;s discusting.
